Which type of evaluation do you need?
FCSA offers credential evaluations for university admission, employment, professional licensing, and visa processing for immigration and/or work.
How soon will you receive your evaluation? Evaluations are usually ready to be mailed approximately two weeks after all necessary documents have been received. We also offer 3-day and next day service. Submission details can be found on the downloadable applications.
Below are descriptions of the four types of evaluations we offer, as well as average prices. Price varies by institution. Payment must be included with the application and documents. Be sure to check with the entity requesting an evaluation of your academic credentials to see which of these evaluations fulfill their specific requirements. 1. General Statement of Equivalency ($85 USD)
As the name implies, this evaluation provides a simple statement of equivalency in US terms. (See an example) Request this type of evaluation to meet the broadest or minimum requirement, such as for employment. The general statement of equivalency includes the following information:

Institutions attended (non-US only)

Dates of attendance

Credentials earned and date awarded

United States equivalence

2. Detailed Evaluation of Coursework ($150 USD)
In some cases, requesters require a more detailed evaluation of your credentials. (See an example) The detailed evaluation of coursework includes the following:

Institutions attended (non-US only)

Dates of attendance
-
Credentials earned and date awarded

United States equivalence
-
Courses taken, with equivalent US semester hours for each course

US grade equivalence for each course

Overall equivalent US grade point average (US GPA)

Upper division and graduate GPA can also be specified at no extra charge

3. Professional Licensing or Certification
In the case of professional licensing or certification, a very specific evaluation format is often required to satisfy detailed licensure or certification requirements. Such requirements are often specified in state or federal law, or by professional licensing or certification boards at either the state or federal (national) level. (See an example)
